Kitchen foil (aluminium foil)

Some district councils can collect aluminium foil in their household collections.  Please click here for more information on what your district council collects. 

You can take foil to your local Household Waste Recycling Centre, where it can be recycled.

Kitchen Knives

Consider advertising unwanted but reusable kitchen knives on a site such as Gumtree, Preloved, Freegle or Freecycle.

Knives are also accepted at your local Household Waste Recycling  Centre. It is best to approach a member of staff for safe disposal, and if they are particularly sharp, wrap them in newspaper.
