It is a fridge that is happy to receive good quality food that would have been thrown away. All food going into the fridge is quality checked. Anyone can donate, a business can donate. And more importantly anyone can help themselves to food in the fridge. The fridge is accessible Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 9.30am to 3.30pm
The Courtenay Centre houses Newton Abbot’s first community fridge. The fridge is available for local people to either take food that isn’t going to be used, from shops and supermarkets or surplus items donated by local people.
