Reusable Tampon Applicators

Reusable tampon applicators are available such as DAME which reduce the amount of plastic and cardboard applicator waste produced compared to using regular applicator tampons. The applicator is made from medical grade Mediprene and Polypropylene. These are polymers made of a mixture of rubber and plastic. A tampon of your choice can be loaded into the applicator, inserted as normal and simply rinsed and wiped dry after use, then placed back in its storage pouch until its next use.
